04The service

Hook It is an online video editing aid: from a video supplied by the user, it transcribes speech, suggests short excerpts (“clips”) using automated processing, including an artificial intelligence model, then produces captions and vertical-format exports.

05Content imported by users

Videos and other content are imported under the responsibility of the users, who warrant they hold the necessary rights. Hook It stores them on behalf of each user without making them public. Any clearly unlawful content that is reported is promptly removed or made inaccessible: see “Copyright & takedown”.

06Intellectual property

The Hook It name, its logo, the website and its content (text, interface, illustrations) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited. Videos processed with the service remain the property of their authors or rights holders.
